Free At Last!
The spam comment menace is over. Unfortunately, this means that you now have to register and log-in to post. Yes, it’s traumatic I know, but it’s a small price to pay.
If you are a WordPress user and you’re experiencing a “zero sized reply” error message when you try to enter the Comment Moderation page; or indeed if the Comment Moderation page appears to do NOTHING when you click on it, you may have the same problem we did i.e. TOO MANY COMMENTS IN MODERATION. Simply hit “Manage” and then view the comments, manually deleting them from there to make this go away. We reckoned that we were able to access moderation again after getting the comments down to about 200. HOW FASCINATING THIS TRULY IS – hopefully that was useful to someone.

Sorry Archa – just WordPress. I’ll take a look at the forums as well – Ian wants to allow random guest commenting but the recent WordPress spam caused him to reconsider on here. Maybe the forums will follow suit…
