mothers might download this by accident. excellent.
HA yes i did moan about the lack of master chief. I bought ODST and was disappointed, but I really wasn’t happy about the lack of master chief. If it wasn’t for the multiplayer pack (I never bought the DLC – my opinion would be drastically different if i had) and the limited edition controller, i would have left it on the shelf. Master chief was such a great character, not least in how absurd he was. Playing as an odst is like arkham asylum without being batman…It just feels really soulless, which the main reviews disagree with, but whatever. It feels sucky.
Okay ALSO I forced my girlfriend to watch Star Wars IV the other day! I think she hated it. The only thing she liked was Alec Guinness, and when he died she was like ‘where did he go, he was the only good bit’. In retrospect a poor decision. But I will say, I think Luke’s raging attraction to Leia really does show that Lucas hadn’t decided on that one.

1) Game conferences becoming more and more expensive: it’s like any other market being driven by demand and supply. In this case, the demand for a possibility to advertise and to network. It was just a matter of time until the prices went up. What I don’t see is an increase of supply … oh wait, the point is to make money, not running conventions
…
2) Sega & Sony document: you promissed a link …
3) Price for a game is indeed a very important factor. I also tend to wait, with some exceptions (STALKER), then buy. On some of them however, hype and excitement win. Those are quite rare though.

Getting caught up in the hype is quite easy to do, but most of the time I tend to ignore it, even if I was caught in it at the time. I totally did that with No More Heroes…

@Alex – If you hate Star Wars, you hate ALL STORIES and thus are a bad person.
@Herr Alien – I was COMPLETELY SURE that I posted this yesterday, but obviously not.

@Eddie – I still haven’t played that. Or any other Suda games (that is Suda, right?) for that matter.

That’s weird. My comment disappeared then came back. O wellz.
