This week, we discuss Activision’s charitable intentions, shock games as public service announcements, indie point-and-click adventures, Robbie Williams, Mark Ecko and all of the other games industry nonsense from the past week.  Enjoy!

    - on comedy: I guess it’ll be limited to it stemming from a situation.
    - on shock games: it depends on the shock, I guess. Killing people in a war game where you play as the … taliban can be a shock that can be handled better.
It’s a tough question. See MW2′s scene regarding killing unarmed civilians. It depends on the shock and implementation.
For example, a poor implementation (cartoony) for that game that requires you to beat a woman will have the opposite effect, saying that it is ok to it.
    - regarding the MW2 event: Activision, does the game really need this type of attention? I mean it already did incredibly well in sales. What else do you want? Have everybody sell their kidneys to buy the game … again?

“There are MMOs where you point and click a lot”?

Yes. Every MMO on a PC =D Brilliant.

Good show guys, although I’m still looking forward to the return of Brian’s Telescope Update =)
