Glock360, try running this command in the console – ‘sudo apt-get upgrade pulse audio’.

  12. Glock360:

    Thanks for helping.

  13. Ian:

    Did that work Glock?

  14. Glock360:

    No .

  15. Hawk:

    Awesome!

The updated version has been very smooth so far. The only problem I’ve noticed is that sometimes when I press ⌘⏎ (command+return) to switch into fullscreen mode FS just disappears and I see my desktop or whatever applications and windows I have open besides FS, and the menu bar is missing. Hitting that key combo again changes back into windowed mode which shows up normally again.

The only way to fix this when it happens is to go to the game options, put a checkmark next to “Fullscreen”, change the resolution back to 1920×1200 – 32 (it is something else like 1920×1178 for some reason) and click “Apply”.

Since you’re working on this part of the code, could you also make it so that FS remembers resolutions for windowed and fullscreen modes separately, and automatically switches between them when you hit ⌘⏎? Because right now if I want a smaller resolution for windowed mode and I switch to fullscreen, it’s all stretched and ugly, but if I change it to my native resolution and switch to windowed mode, I get a huge window that still covers my whole screen.

The way I want it is how Starcraft 2 does it. (Not that I’m comparing FS to SC2 of course.)

    Many thanks!

James forgot, or didn’t have time, to put up the changelog yesterday nor today. Hopefully James will post it this week or the next. Or before christmas. Or the year’s end.
