This was the debut release by Mode 7's in-house musician nervous_testpilot (aka Paul Taylor). It originally appeared as a limited edition mini-CD on Manchester's Data Capture Recordings.
Created using extremely rudimentary equipment, "Module" was an exercise in creating evocative melodies and textures without the need for an expensive studio. It's a very indie electronica album, and it's available for a frankly astonishing $5.00 for 8 tracks.
Every track has a decent tune, and there's no endlessly abrasive irritating noise.
